These classes are geared for beginners who have never sat behind a torch and worked with glass before. Classes will cover not only how to create the specified glass object, but will also safety and basic torch function and proper flame settings.

Professor emeritus Mathew Kubik from Purdue University shares some of the drawing skills and techniques that he has learned in his time as an architect, designer and teacher.

These classes tackle projects that require a higher level and skill are intended for individual who have spent at least 10 to 20 hours on the torch. We recommend that participants have at least two beginner level courses before signing up for one of these fun classes.
This is a great class for parents and kids to take together. Students will learn how to create their very own tie-dyed T-shirt that they can proudly wear later.

Sept. 12 5pm - 7pm
Students will learn how to needle felt and assemble different component parts to make a final creation all your own! This relatively new fiber art has been gaining popularity in the craft world, appealing to both veteran and novice crafters. Needle felting uses special barbed needles to sculpt un-spun wool into three-dimensional objects. After the class students will have their own felted creation, an understanding of how needle felt is done, and the knowledge of how to create and assemble parts into a felt creation of your own at home. Each student will receive a felting needle and enough wool for one animal to finish in class or at home.

This is a fun beginner level class perfect for students young to old, and just in time to start making presents for the holidays. Students will learn the basic techniques and skill required to bead and assemble beautiful earrings. Each student will take home earrings that they have created themselves and the knowledge needed to confidently make more at home.
Dec. 14 5pm - 6 pm
We are BEYOND excited to be offering art classes for adults with special needs in our gallery, the Rising Phoenix!
Each class will be taught by a professional artists and will also have 2 assistants for support. Students who need extra assistance may be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
Our young artists will be exposed to pottery, collage, abstract art, fused glass, drawing, watercolor and more!
Students will gain confidence in their artistic talents while building academic and social skills in a creative, friendly and supported environment.
