18Artists is an artists cooperative engaged in furthering the careers of emerging and established artists in the Northwest Indiana and the Chicago-land area. An exemplary collection of award-winning artists, encompassing a wide range of styles and media, the group provides exciting and informative art experiences to the community through numerous exhibits during the year.
Since their founding in 1994, it has been their goal to engender a supportive community of artists that provides honest feedback & critique, thereby encouraging growth as individual artists and as a group. By collaborating, we can learn, develop and expand our views as individual artists.
The artist's reception will be held on Friday,
November 1st from 5 pm - 8 pm.
This event is a fun way to celebrate the opening of the new exhibit. It is also a great way to for the public to meet the artist's and learn about the artist's creative process and methods.
The event is open to the public and free to attend.
